RATES

The Villa’s daily rental rates are quoted in United States Dollars (USD), however payments are charged in Ringgit Malaysia (MYR). Rates quoted maybe subjected to changes.

Rental rates per night are as follows:-
PEAK SEASON : USD 1,670
HIGH SEASON : USD 1,400
LOW SEASON : USD 1,200

All rates are inclusive of applicable government taxes and service charges.

To guarantee the booking of the Villa, 100% of the rental amount and security deposit is required within five (5) working days after the reservation has been made online and payment instructions have been issued. If payment is not received within this time, the booking will be automatically cancelled. 


SECURITY DEPOSIT

The Security Deposit equivalent to one (1) day rental rate is required for all bookings. This is to cover the cost of any damages or breakages during the rental period.

The Security Deposit less applicable deductions and set-off (if any) will be returned to you after inspection, within five (5) working days after your departure or where applicable, in the event of any cancellation of your booking. Your liability is not limited to the amount of the Security Deposit and you will remain responsible for full payment for all liabilities incurred.

SEASONAL DATES

The Villa’s rental rates are quoted according to “Peak”, “High” and “Low” season as shown below:

PEAK SEASON : August 1st to August 31st, December 20th to January 8th
HIGH SEASON : July 15th to July 31st, September 1st to September 15th, Easter Week (varies)
LOW SEASON : January 9th to July 14th (excluding Easter Week), September 16th to December 19th

AIRPORT TRANSFER & CAR RENTALS

Airport pick-up/drop off can be arranged on your behalf, with early notification and confirmed flight details.

Indicative rate for car rental is as shown below (subject to changes):
For a 7-seater van (including driver and petrol)

a) The car rental rate is Rp 850,000 per car for the first 10 hours (full day)
b) Extra time will be charged at Rp 85,000 per hour
c) Airport transfer is Rp 350,000 per way for one way

We would recommend that you book the car(s) well in advance especially during high and peak seasons.

NUMBER OF GUESTS

The Villa can only accommodate to a maximum number of fourteen (14) persons at any one point of stay, which we ask to be respected.

MINIMUM STAY

The minimum stay requirement for our Villa should be for three (3) consecutive nights and could well be extended to a maximum stay of two (2) weeks.

EXTENSION OF STAY / ALTERATION OF BOOKING

Any extension of stay will be strictly subject to availability at the time of request. Guests are advised to notify us as early as possible of any intended extension period.

No refund will be given for a shorter stay than the one you booked and the villa is free to be let after the guests’ departure.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT TIME

The official check-in time for arriving guests is at 2.00 pm and check-out time is at 12.00 noon. Late check-out after 6.00 pm may incur a half-day rental fee. Late check-out requests are subject to availability.

CANCELLATIONS

The Villa must receive notice of booking cancellation in writing either via email or fax. Full payment is non-refundable if reservation is cancelled within less than 30 days prior to arrival.

DAMAGE OR LOSSES

Please treat the Property rented accordingly, and leave the Property and all its contents in good order and in an acceptably clean condition.

Any damage or losses caused during the Rental Period, as well as any special cleaning requirements will be the Guest’s responsibility and may be charged to the Guest’s account and deducted from the Guest’s security deposit. In cases of excessive or unacceptable loss or damage at any time during the Rental Period, the Villa or the Villa’s Representative may require the Guest and their party, including visitors to vacate the Property immediately, without compensation or refund.

DISCLAIMER

Neither NagaSutra, the Owner nor the Owner’s Representative accepts any responsibility or liability for:

  • any physical injury, sickness, death, loss, damage, inconvenience or additional expenses incurred by the Guest, their party or visitors regardless of the cause;
  • any vehicle or the contents of any vehicle used, hired or engaged by the Guest or their party during the Rental Period; 
  • inability of the Guest or any member of the Guest’s party to enter the location of the Property or stay at the Property for all or part of the Rental Period as a result of failure to obtain appropriate travel or visa documentation, cancellation or amendments to travel arrangements or the missing of flights or travel connections; and/or
  • any delay or cancellation of the booking as a result of war, threat of war, riot or civil strife, strike, demonstration, terrorist activity (threatened or actual), natural disaster, fire, sickness, weather conditions, action at an airport or port by any government or public authority, technical problems relating to transport and airport regulations caused by technical, mechanical or electrical breakdowns, or any technical, structural, electrical, plumbing or other problems or difficulties with the Property which make it unsafe or unusable, or any other circumstances which amount to ‘force majeure’ or Acts of God, or other events beyond the Owner’s control.

In no case will NagaSutra, the Owner or the Owner’s Representative individually or collectively be liable to make any payment or give any refund or compensation of any amount over and above the total rental amount paid.

OTHER USEFUL INFORMATION

1. Guest registration
As part of the local requirements, the Villa guests will need to be registered with the local authorities within 24 hours of arrival at the Villa at nominal cost of Rp 50,000 per person. The procedures are as follows:
a) The Villa staff will make a photocopy of every guest’s passport upon arrival at the Villa.
b) A simple registration form will need to be filled out and signed by each and every guest.
c) These documents will then be sent immediately to the village registration office.

2. Meal Charge (for food preparation services only)
The Villa staff can prepare meals upon your request for a nominal fee as shown below:
Breakfast: USD 2.00 per person per meal
Lunch/Dinner: USD 4.00 per person per meal
With sufficient notice and upfront advances, the Villa staff can purchase the groceries on your behalf. Please note that only cash payment is accepted.

3. Massage Service
Traditional Bali massages can be arranged to be conducted at the Villa upon your request and one (1) day notice. Please note that only cash payment is accepted.

4. Entertainments at the Villa
Traditional dances and shows (e.g. Legong, Kechak, etc.) including live band performances can be arranged to be conducted at the Villa should you wish to organize a party. Please provide at least two (2) days’ notice for such performances. Again, only cash payments are accepted.

5. Staff Tipping
It is the norm in Bali for guest to tip each staff in the Villa upon departure. For your information, NagaSutra employs between 7 to 10 staff depending on the season (including maids, guards and gardeners). A typical tip would be approximately USD 30 per staff per week of stay.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Please be advised that the Indonesian laws can be much more severe than those of other jurisdictions for certain violations of the law, particularly in regard to illegal drugs, illegal substances or prostitution. The Death Penalty is enforceable for drug related crimes. Any guests or their visitors using or in possession of illegal drugs, illegal substances or allowing prostitution at Villa NagaSutra, will be removed immediately from the premises and the local authorities will be contacted immediately. No refund will be entertained. It is understood that the Registered Guest is responsible for all the actions of their guests and that all guests have read and will abide by the Terms and Conditions stated in this rental agreement and all the rules and policies set forth in the Villa NagaSutra’s website.
